This book embodies exactly what it says in the title: it is extremely comforting. It’s hopeful, without denying the messiness and the pain of life; it’s full of profound ideas that have been written in an accessible way, and as usual, Haig is relatable and personal. This is a perfect read to accompany the hard times.
