It’s OK that you’re not OK by Megan Devine

What I love most about this book is how real it is. The author describes the reality of loss and grief for exactly what it is, without sugar-coating or offering platitudes. She discusses many elements of grief, including truths that aren’t usually part of mainstream discussion, and she invites the reader to authentically step into their own pain. This book is a sigh of relief for those struggling to deal with their grieving in a grief-averse culture, as well as an important read for those wishing to understand their grieving loved ones, or those who’d simply like to be more grief-literate.
